THE FORT CELEBRATES MOTHERS DAY WITH SELECTIONS FIT FOR A QUEEN
Diners are treated to an unlimited buffet of fresh seafood, brunch items, and traditional Fort fare
Morrison, CO – In honor of Mother’s Day, The Fort has prepared a buffet of brunch and dinner items. The buffet, which includes coffee, tea and fountain soda, is available to adults for $50, to children ages 12 and under for $22, and free for children under five (tax and gratuity not included). Gates open at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 11th. Eric “Many Winds” Herrera will entertain guests with Native American flute music throughout the day.
Fresh from the sea are Spicy Peel & Eat Shrimp, Fresh Gulf Oysters on the Half Shell,and Salmon Lox. Brunch items include Eggs Benedict “Arnold”: a poached egg atop Canadian bacon on a toasted English muffin and drizzled with red chile-brown butter hollandaise; Spanish Scrambled Eggs, French Toast, Applewood Bacon, Maple-Bison Sausage, and Stone-Ground Green Chile Cheese Grits. For diners craving classic Fort fare, Chefs Dierolf and Groditsky have prepared Grilled Coriander Chicken, Pork Tamales, Orzo Primavera, Bison Shepherd’s Pie, Chicken Enchiladas Suiza, and Fort favorites Grilled Teriyaki Quail and Maple Glazed Salmon with cilantro basmati rice. A variety of fresh spring vegetables such as Green Beans Amandine, Spring Asparagus Spears, Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, and Roasted Corn Succotash will also be available. The carving station offers a selection of sliced-to-order fine roasted meats. The dessert buffet presents temptations such as Fruit Cobbler topped with oatmeal streusel, Petit Fours, and Fresh Fruit Trifle.
