THE FORT’S STOCKMAN’S SPECIAL COMMEMORATES THE NATIONAL WESTERN STOCK SHOW
Diners enjoy a succulent Coleman Natural Beef steak when the Stock Show comes to town

Morrison, COIn celebration and support of the 102nd annual National Western Stock Show, The Fort is offering a Stock Show Special prix fixe dinner commemorating the event. Kicking off the opening of the Stock Show, The Fort’s special will be available Saturday, January 12th through Sunday, January 27th for $35 (not including tax or gratuity)

The Stockman’s Special treats diners to a 12-ounce Coleman Natural Beef Boneless Rib-Eye Steak, served with The Fort’s creamy White Cheddar and Shallot Mashed Potatoes and tender Haricots Verts. Dinner is served with freshly baked Pumpkin Walnut Muffins and The Fort’s Dinner Salad: a medley of crisp greens topped with tangy pickled ginger, diced jicama, toasted pepitas and a peppadew pepper.

The Fort’s regular menu of favorites including buffalo, beef, quail, and salmon will be offered along side the Stockman’s Special dinner. Served with a tossed salad, warm bread, pumpkin-walnut muffins, roasted shallot mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, items featured on the regular menu range in price from $22 - $52.

The Fort won the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator for the fourth consecutive year in 2007, was named a “Must See” in The Rocky Mountain News’s 2007 Dining Guide, “Top of the Town: Classic Denver Restaurant” by 5280 Magazine in 2006, and is listed on the National Register of Historic places.
