Join us at the 10th Annual Indian
Market and Powwow where award winning Native American artists
will show their wares and demonstrate their crafts. This juried show is overseen by the Council of Indigenous Arts and respected experts in the field who will judge art submitted by premier
Native American artists in the country. Artists will share
their arts and crafts with visitors throughout the day in impromptu
and planned demonstrations. A contest Powwow will fill the
valley below The Fort on Saturday and Sunday. Dancers and drummers
will share their heritage in competitions of Traditional, Fancy
Shawl, Men's Fancy, Men's Grass and Women's Jingle categories.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional
dances and regalia while watching the brilliant display of
cultures and colors.
