See the Original Dickens Carolers at The Fort This Holiday Season
There’s nothing quite like the sound of classic carols drifting through a winter evening, and this December, guests at The Fort can experience that timeless magic firsthand. We’re delighted to host the Original Dickens Carolers, a beloved Colorado ensemble that brings Victorian charm, rich harmonies and lighthearted storytelling to the holiday season.
Performing Thursday through Saturday evenings in December, this quartet features four distinct characters inspired by Dickens-era tradition:
Felicity, the lovely soprano, is the belle of the ball. With her captivating smile, she’s the “hostess with the mostest” and the natural center of attention wherever she goes.
Pip, the perky alto, is a poor little beggar and pickpocket, caught one day by the Governor who soon discovered that Pip could actually sing. Now, instead of begging and stealing, she sings for her supper.
Sebastian, the dashing tenor, is one who fancies himself quite the ladies' man. He is charming and fun, always flirting with the ladies, and likes to tease Pip.
The Governor, the commanding bass, keeps the quartet in line. He’s a proper Victorian gentleman who brings presence, polish and the occasional well-timed scolding.
Together, these four characters blend humor, theatrics and classic holiday melodies into a performance that delights guests of all ages.
The Original Dickens Carolers make an evening at The Fort feel even more spirited and special. Join us throughout December to enjoy their performances during dinner service, soak up the holiday atmosphere and experience a little Victorian cheer.
